Miscellaneous Paintings
This gallery is titled 'Miscellaneous' because that is exactly what it is. It is a collection of paintings I have done on completely random found objects. You will see art on old milk cans, 50 gallon galvanized stock watering tanks, small and large metal pails, or whatever either I happen to find or a client brings me. I have even started a few wooden cutouts of fox hunting characters that have been used at hunter/jumper horse shows.
It all started a few years ago when a good friend of mine brought me three 50 gallon stock tanks and asked if I could paint on them. The bottoms were full of holes, so they were past their primary use. Now they were to be up-cycled and used as flower planters. I told her I thought I probably could, and that I would get back to her. About a six weeks later I showed her the finished product. My friend was elated and has brought more items for me to paint, as have other clients, so the miscellaneous gallery was begun.
