Eastern Bluebird in Apple Blossoms 2 Hand-painted Metal Spoon Ornament

What bird lover or gardener wouldn't love this beautiful hand-painted spoon to add to their collection? I painted an Eastern Bluebird taking a short break among the blossoms of an apple tree in latex house paints and sealed it with two coats of acrylic varnish. I then added a ribbon for displaying.
The beautiful silverplate handle has two tiny scrolls at the base, which then become lines of tiny beading, with a small floral motif on each edge as it flares towards the end. the top is then crowned with a larger floral motif. It is signed on the back and the handle is imprinted with "1847 Rogers Bros IS Remembrance". It measures 6" x 1 1/4" x 3/4" overall, and looks wonderful hanging on a rack, wall or on the tree.
Each one is hand-painted, so even though two spoons may have the same image, they are still individual pieces. I have more spoons available in my shop, so be sure to check them out as well.

Please note: most of the spoons I paint on are of older, silver plate that has some damage or are random pieces that I pick up at thrift stores, antique malls and the like. Often times the silver plate handles will tarnish, and they are easily cleaned with silver polish.
