'Heart and Soul' Fine Art Giclee Print
Have you ever looked into a horse's eye and wondered if you were staring into his soul? Heart and Soul is what I titled this print of a pastel painting I did of our Tennessee Walking Horse, Master. He had mud on his face, and he came up to me as if asking me to brush him. I decided to get a photo of him first, then I did brush him. He then proceeded to roll and come back for another brushing!
I love the soft, soulful look he had in his eyes, and its as if you can look into his heart through them and see God. I knew right away I had to paint this moment!

This print was very difficult to photograph to get the subtle color changes of the hair coat. It looks much better in person.
