Country Church Hand Painted Metal Spoon

This little country church is modeled after one that is just up the road from us. In fact, I can see it from my studio window! I painted this image with latex house paint and it has two coats of spar urethane for protection. It is signed on the back.
This spoon measures 6" L x 1 1/2" W and is stamped on the back handle "Wm Rogers & Son". The pattern on the handle is 'Victorian Rose'.
The spoon comes with a cream-colored organza ribbon already attached for hanging. This would make a great gift, especially if you are not quite sure what to get someone.
Each one is hand-painted, so even though two spoons may have the same image, they are still individual pieces. I have more spoons available in my shop, so be sure to check them out as well.

Please note: most of the spoons I paint on are of older, silver plate that has some damage or are random pieces that I pick up at thrift stores, antique malls and the like. Often times the silver plate handles will tarnish, and they are easily cleaned with silver polish.
