Cool Mule hand painted vintage shovel
Did you know that the town of Columbia, Tennessee is known as the Mule Capital of the world? The first weekend in April every year they have a celebration of the long-eared creatures, called Mule Days. I created the Cool Mule, a black mule silhouette with sunglasses, in honor of the town, also known as Muletown. This cool dude is ready to put a smile on everyone's face!
Cool Mule is painted with latex house paint, and sealed with two coats of acrylic varnish for protection. His silhouette against the pale mint green background is subtle enough for any decor. The vintage metal shovel, reminiscent of a child's sandbox shovel, but a little heavier, is also coated with clear acrylic varnish to bring out the aged metal look and prevent any rusting. It has a heavy jute twine to hang it with.
I have more spoons available in my shop, so be sure to check them out as well.
