VBS (Vacation Bible School) Set Production

Every year at this time our church gets ready for its annual Vacation Bible School series, a week long day camp if you will for elementary aged children.  Over the past several years I have been part of the set design/production team to create the colorful set and vignettes that fill the halls and stage of the church for the VBS.  This year, I have been honored with the position of team lead, and so for the past several weeks this is where the bulk of my artistic time has been spent. 
I have a wonderful team and we have a few more weeks to get things wrapped up and in place, but I wanted to give you a sneak peak at a few props we have made for the theme, 'Shipwrecked, Rescued by Jesus".
